Vinted Members Share Anger Regarding Size Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has updated its size classifications for women's and children's clothes without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants are expressing on platforms stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
The platform has recommended to review their products and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, resulting in member annoyance.
Measurement Approach Updates
Before the change, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - for example a size L was previously a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.

One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, located in England, said she had been left angered because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she stated.

It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion that an unexpected update to the app has proved unpopular: previously, the platform withdrew an update concerning shipment methods following member complaints.
